Insulite

Polyethylene pipe insulation commonly used in hot and/or cold water pipes. Essential for preventing pipes from freezing in the winter. Available in diameters ranging from 1/4" to 4-1/2" in thicknesses of 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1".

Versions

Insulite® SS

Insulite® SS is a highly effective semi-slit polyethylene pipe insulation designed to provide excellent thermal performance. It is a popular choice for insulating hot and cold water pipes and can be found in many plumbing supply stores and businesses. Insulite SS is available in diameters ranging from 1/4" to 4-1/2" and in wall thickness of 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1".

Insulite® SL

Insulite® SL is manufactured with a self-sealing adhesive tape that facilitates its installation. Just as the SS model, Insulite® SL is available in internal diameters from 1/4" up to 4-1/2" and in wall thickness of 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1".

Insulite® Coil

Insulite® Coil is manufactured in continuous lengths. The number of feet per coil varies depending on its diameter. This model is not offered in Self Seal version.

    Insulite® has a temperature range of -297.4°F to 199.4°F (-183°C to 93°C).

  • Does it work to protect pipes during winter?

    Yes. Insulite® is the ideal pipe insulation to offer pipe protection during periods of low temperatures.

  • Is an adhesive necessary for its installation?

    Insulite® SS would require the use of adhesive unless the pipes to be insulated have not yet been installed. Insulite® SL does not require any adhesive, as it comes with a self sealing adhesive tape.
